World Cup - Post 2

HA, Post 1. I thought I would have at least 5 by this point. Oh well, things are better in small doses anyway, and you certainly get that with The Torch Carrying Mob. I am very pleased with semi-final lineup. While my two favorites will have to battle it out, at least one of them will make it to the final. I couldn't ask for more. But even better is that Brazil is out of there. Zero, nothing, nada for the little Selecaos this time around. Yes, they are a good team, and yes, they are the true soccer artists (see Post 1 where I attribute it to the Italians); but they've won 2 of last 4 and they've come to expect at least making it to the semi. It's fun watching them suffer, especially Ronaldinho.

As far the Italy v. Germany game, I'm all for the Germans. The World Cup is the only event where my ancestral loyalties surface. I don't know why really. I still find the Italians sexier, if that is anything.

World Cup - Post 1

World Cup 2006

I'm a huge fan of the Italian team. Their finesse brings art to the sport of soccer; Being so damn sexy makes them nice to watch as well. BUT, I was happy to hear the US tied them. The US Men's soccer sucks so I usually don't waste my time watching them bumble with the ball, but the way they played on Saturday has given me some hope that we may one day have a team that makes it to the finals.

Okay, so really I'm just lazy

I really do plan on writing in this on a consistent basis. I just haven't scheduled it into my life yet. You see, I'm a bit anal so I have a set schedule for certain things. For example, I only work out in the mornings. I can't stand going to the gym at any other time, even if I have the time. It's not because there are more people around, I just don't like going at any other time. I have a similar routine with food. It can't be too late or early, and I have to eat about every 3 hours. I don't like meals that fill me up because it kills my routine. However I'll eat ice cream at any time. I do have some spontaneity.
Well, the point is stay tuned. I'm not giving up on my blog just yet, not until it becomes too uncool; then at that time I'll jump on another bandwagon.

Been Busy
