Accident, Part 2

In the continuing saga of my car accident (yup it’s continuing), I recently received a $2100 invoice from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) for guardrail repair. This was a low impact accident; there is no way I caused $2100 worth of damages! Physics is telling me my car would have been in worse shape had I caused extensive damage to the metal guardrail, but perhaps my car defied the laws. I didn’t know he was such a rebel! I’ve given my schpeel to the claims adjustor, so I’m hoping the repair estimate is substantially reduced, it’s added to the initial claim, and I don’t have to pay another deductible. For some reason I’m thinking the last two won’t happen, but a girl can dream can’t she. In a semi related note I got a speeding ticket yesterday, which this time I deserved. I tried to start crying by telling him of my last undeserved ticket, but the cop went ahead and wrote me one.

All in all, I just want justice to prevail. I’ll pay money for speeding, but not as an involuntary benefactor of some WSDOT lottery where they are just waiting for someone to damage their property. Did I mention they only investigated the site 6 months after the accident?

Yeah, I have come to the conclusion that everyone is out to screw anyone out of money, especially if it's possible to milk an insurance company which in turn screws us back over in higher premiums! I'm sorry Carrie! Keep us posted on what happens. I need you to keep bloggin stories like this so I have my daytime soap fix! ;0)

Amen sista. Down with opportunists!

I'll try to keep you updated with more happenings. Thanks for commenting, it's nice to know someone is reading.
If you want I'll go ahead and have an affair with one of my students and maybe throw in a neighbor for fun. Later I can die in a fiery crash only to return a year later as my twin sister

Wow, you really know how to captivate an audience with your previews into next seasons storylines! I'm hooked! One suggestion however, I'm really into hot interns (like those that work at Seattle Grace..it's a real hospital right?), so if you could have some storyline with them that would be great.

On a more real note, I check out your blog everyday. I'm ALWAYS reading. So, keep us updated more often! I actually can't wait to see you again this summer...then you'll REALLY have something to blog about! ;-) (Meaning you could introduce me to those hot interns...!!!)
